未來全世界全人類的
想像力

     Our language can be seen as an ancient city: a maze of little streets and squares, of old and new houses, and of houses with additions from various periods; and this surrounded by a multitude of new boroughs with straight regular streets and uniform houses. 

     Imagine someone's saying: "All tools serve to modify something. Thus the hammer modifies the position of the nail, the saw the shape of the board, and so on."---And what is modified by the rule, the glue-pot, the nails?---"Our knowledge of thing's length, the temperature of the glue, and the solidity of the box."-----Would anything be gained by this assimilation of expressions?---

                          logic, philosophy of mathematics, philosophy of mind, and philosophy of language.

楔子
我自1970年開始定居台北東區，四十年來，親見台北從一個農業化城市蛻變成工業及後工業化城市。傳統的農居與日式房舍，混合著違章建築與新建的高樓大廈，如變形蟲般，蠕動、成長、變化，有陰柔如竹籬似的退讓，也有強韌如鋼鐵般的奮起，在愚蠢自私的雜亂中，在短視狹窄的格局裡，產生一種相互容忍的秩序與合諧，值得我們進一步反省、探討、面對。

雖然非常大非常熱
非常吵
但卻非常非常的寂寞
連偶爾聽到的
一兩句人聲
也不再有

以正義之名強行霸佔台北街道
不斷遊行、示威、廣播、抗議
持續靜坐、絕食、演講、抨擊
街頭巷尾全都默默仰天忍受
等到各種激情煙火情過後，悄悄
收拾大小垃圾口號及滿地酸臭的委屈、憤怒、偏見與仇恨
依舊還給昨天混亂台北一個嶄新台北明天
